This beautiful young male leopard was just relaxing and enjoying the sunset. We were very fortunate and happy that we were able join him for almost an hour before he decided it was time to leave.
This leopards life might get serious very soon. He is approaching an age where he starts to compete for his own territory and this means severe competition from other males. This will most likely end up in a battle for a piece of land since other males will not be allowed to stay in the same area. It is obvious that he hasn’t been in conflict yet since the lack of scars around his face, he still has a bit of a baby face ;)
