What's in my bag?
Photography Gear
When heading out on a photographic safari, having the right gear can mean the difference between capturing an unforgettable moment or missing it entirely. Over the years, I’ve fine-tuned my kit to ensure I’m prepared for anything that crosses my path.
This setup works for me, providing the perfect balance of versatility, reliability, and quality. Whether it's a once-in-a-lifetime encounter or the golden light of an African sunrise, my gear helps me bring the wild to life through photography and video.

-
Sony A7 III (Backup) – Reliable and versatile, always ready in case of emergencies.
-
Canon G7X Mark II – A compact powerhouse for quick shots and behind-the-scenes content.

Other Equipment & Essentials
-
Camera Cleaning Kit – Keeping my gear clean is essential, especially in winter time when there is a lot of dust.
-
Tripod – For stability during low-light or long-exposure shots. But in all fairness, I barely use it. Only for stars.
-
Multiple External Hard Drives (Lacie Rugged) – Backing up files is critical while traveling. Last thing you want is loose your precious footage.
-
Vortex Diamondback 10x42 Binoculars – As a birding enthusiast, these are a must.
