My story
In December 2017 I traveled to Africa for the first time after finished my commerce studies at the university of Rotterdam. I then started a career at Kamera Express which is the biggest photography retailer of Western Europe. I enjoyed being the Social Media Manager a lot, but I felt my story in Africa wasn't over yet.
That's why I decided to move to South Africa and participate in the 'Bushwise Field Guide' course to become a Field/Trails guide and actively pursuit a career in the guiding industry.
I am currently based at Shumbalala Game Lodge in the Thornybush Game Reserve where I take guests from all over the world on walking and vehicle based safaris.

My own goal? I hope to make a positive impact for the protection of these last remaining wildlife areas. These last remaining areas are pressured every day by poaching, habitat loss and other big challenges. With taking guests out on a guided experience, sharing footage on my social media platforms and website and by storytelling I try to do my best to excite people to get involved to conserve these last strongholds of wildlife.
