Elephants are definitely not an umcommon sightings on the plains of the Maasai Mara. Especially in the raining season they come out to feed o n the fresh grass that is available. Their diet changes slightly depending on the time of the year. In the dry season they feed slightly more on wooded vegetation and in the wetter months they go for the fresh grass! And by the way, this individual was definitely not an introvert since he was accompanied by another 20 elephants ;)
