The Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve is situated just outside the Greater Kruger area, is currently a 27,000-hectare game reserve and is a registered Protected Area . The area hosts many animal species in its diverse habitat that were previously indigenous to the area, with the exception of roan antelope.
